Happy Homeowners
We are homeowners that installed the under cabinet lighting ourselves. We did a lot of research, watched many videos and read the electrical code handbook before purchasing Legrand Adorne under cabinet lighting. The install took us a little bit of time because we are novices but it was relatively easy to install. We prepped the area prior to ordering by running all of the electrical and circuit breakers to code and per the install instructions provided by Legrand. Once the electrical was correct we felt confident in ordering the pieces for our kitchen design. We are very happy with the way it turned out and ecstatic to have a better way to plug in appliances!

Adorne LeGrand Under Cabinet Lighting
Thank you for a seemless ording and shipping transaction. The electricians installing my lighting cut out the wrong side of the knockout panel on the cover and they had to reimburse me for another one. The 2 gang control box works as designed.

Questions & Answers
The Adorne outlet system was installed under my cabinet but I don't see a GFCI switch anywhere. I don't need the Control box with light dimmer since lights werr already installed prior to the adorne track. Is there such a thing as a pop out GFCI switch?
I would email pictures of what you have installed to tech.support@legrand.us so we can see your system so we can determine what you have.
The Popout outlet is not available in a GFCI.

I see a small box at the end of the run on the track of the Adorne outlets under my cabinet; is this supposed to be the control box? I don't see a GFCI outlet anywhere. Is there a control box with a GFCI switch for just the outlets?
You could have the Plug in Control box that has a gfci circuit protection built in or your track could be install on a GFCI breaker at your panel.

I need to upgrade my current installation of Legrand Adorne under-cabinet lighting to a GFI outlet. I currently have Adorne Control boxes with dimmer switches. Are the two control boxes the same size? There is at most an inch on 2 of the three tracks.
The 1 Gang Control Box is 5" in length and the 2 Gang Control Box is 5 3/16" in length.

I plugged in the USB module and it trip the GFCI all the time. I plugged in the USB module into the extra port on the 18" track that connected to the control box with the paddle switch and GFCI. Is that too much that causes it to trip?
It sounds like you are sharing the Neutral between the receptacle circuit and the lighting/accessory circuit, which will cause the GFCI to trip. A clarification of the circuits is attached.

Can I replace the paddle switch dimmer with another GFCI outlet?
Yes, the dimmer can be removed and be replaced with an adorne GFCI, as long as it's not a Plus size GFCI.

Hello I need a system to replace a 4 gang (3 switches/ 1 GFCI) and be able to fit under an 18” upper cabinet. The GFCI also feeds a 2 gang box on the other side of the cooktop. I am guessing I need (2) control boxes? Thank you
If you use two control boxes you will be using 11" out of your 18" available space to accommodate all your devices. I would suggest sending in your cabinet layout plan to the adorne design team and they can help put together a suggested layout for you.

Do I have to install the bulky control box? Can't I control all the lights from a wall switch and hardwired the sockets directly? I am doing new construction, so I have flexibility to go with hard wired connection. Thanks!
You can use a Direct Wire Connector(APDWCW1) to bring the power into your track if you do not want or need to use a Control Box.

Will the outlets on a modular track distal to this control box be protected by the GFCI circuit of the included outlet here?
Yes, the GFCI receptacle in the control box will protect all outlets in the track that are connected to it downstream.
