Rated 5 out of 5 by from The coolest switches I use an electrician for installation & any questions on more complicated touch switches, tech support is outstanding. Pretty easy to install. I myself snap on the plate covers. They look very cool & work like an iPhone . Just a quick touch. I have them installed in almost every room in my house. As I repaint a room, I change out the old switches & plugs. They get installed before painting & after tge paint, tge covers get snapped on.

Why is the dimmer minus sign not illuminating while everything else does? This is only happening on one of seven dimmer switches.

I want to use the brushed stainless wall plate. I have room for one gang. I need it to be a combination of a light switch and 1 outlet, 2 outlets and a USB port. Can the one gang be split to hold these two items? I am looking at the brushed stainless

If you use the 1 Gang Plus size wallplate, you can combine any of the mechanical switches(Paddle, Push, or Whisper) with a half-size USB outlet. You can also combine the half-size USB outlet with any regular size(non-GFCI) outlet or use the Dual USB Plus size outlet combo.

Wish to use this product (Stainless Steel) for installs in kitchen and bathroom . Can you confirm Stainless Steel grade used in manufacturing - "TYPE 3XX"

The AWC1G3BS4 is a cast metal plate so there is no stainless steel, Brushed stainless steel is just a description on the finish of the plate. If you want a real stainless steel plate, you should look into AWM1G3MS4, which has a type 430 Stainless Steel finish plate.

Thank you for your question regarding the adorne BRUSHED STAINLESS STEEL 1-GANG+ WALL PLATE(Model # AWC1G3BS4). This wallplate is made of Cast Metal, which is a manufacturing process in which a liquid metal material is poured into a mold, which contains a hollow cavity of the desired shape, and then allowed to solidify. If you are looking for a wallplate made out of a sheet of metal, I would suggest the "Real Material" wallplates...EX: Brushed Stainless(Model # AWM1G3MS4. https://www.legrand.us/search.aspx?q=AWM1G3MS4 adorne products 1.800.223.4185 opt 3 Mon - Fri: 8am - 8pm EST (excluding holidays)
