No. It's no smarter than a normal switch. It completely cuts the circuit.

ASTP1532 With the load OFF, no light, after a power failure, when the power returns the load is energized, the light is ON. None of my other similar switches do this. iS THIS NORMAL?

After power is restored mine comes on momentarily, and the dimmer is reset to a low-medium setting.

I currently have Softap switch ASTP1532W4 installed in a 3-way circuit. It works well and the indicator light works correctly. Can I replace the other 3-way switch with a dimmer from another manufacturer and have the Adorne Softap continue to work?

Yes you can. Softap operate like other 3-way switches where it has a connection wire  between the other switches operating in the 3-way. This is not possible with other adorne switches that use a signal to transmit to the switch with the wire to the light fixture.

I have installed a SOFTAP switch to control a LED light. When the switch is turned off, the LED light won't completely shut off. Is there a way to fix that? What if I change the SOFTAP switch to a PADDLE switch? or other kind of switch? Thanks.

I have the same issue as originally posted but don't understand the solution provided by Legrand Technical support. When you say "you can try connecting the locator leads to the 3way terminal and a Neutral in the box" what are the "locator leads"?  Are you implying the solution is to run a dedicated wire from the 3way terminal on the switch to a neutral wire in the box?

I am using a ASTP1532W4 softap switch in a 3-way setup with a softap dimmer switch. The LED bullseye light illuminates on the dimmer switch when the lights are off but NOT on the ASTP1532W4. Is there something specific in the wiring to get the LED to work

Hello, The ASTP1532W4 does not come with a pre-installed locator light (Part #: AALSL6); however, it includes one in the original packaging that must be installed to illuminate the locator light. Best Regards, Technical Support

Is there a possibility to have a 4-way solution with dimmer, preferably a soft touch universal dimmer?

We have a 4way Paddle switch that can be use with a 3way Touch dimmer and a 3way switch. You could also use a master Touch dimmer(ADTH700RMTU) and two remote dimmers(ADTHRR) to also create a 4way, using all Touch devices.
