The version on the site that says 2.6 was given a faulty filename and listing in the site. The current firmware version for this device is 1.3.

Just called in to see what the dealio is and they said that even when you upload the one from the website it shows 1.3463b150302 and that is the latest. Uhm, ok?

Hello, This product is not a wireless router. It is wired only and does not have the ability to change the wireless password or name. You likely have another access point connected to this router that is managing your wireless network. Thank you.

Hello, The process for logging into the router and upgrading the firmware is covered in the Owner's manual which can be downloaded here: https://www.legrand.us/-/media/brands/on-q/on-q/data/data-products/data-modules/owners_manual_da1054-2.ashx If you're not finding that information, here are the steps: First you would need to log into the router. 1. The default IP address is 192.168.40.254. You would type that IP address into your address bar in your browser (in your case Chrome). NOTE: The steps below assume that your PC’s network interface card is set to DHCP, or in other words, to obtain IP addressing automatically. The steps also assume that the 4 Port Gigabit Router/Switch is set to its default settings and that all the cables previously discussed are properly connected. It is also possible to perform these steps by configuring your computer (with installed Ethernet Network Interface Card) to talk to the Router/Switch on its specific IP subnetwork (192.168.40.xxx). The Router/Switch’s default IP address in that subnetwork is 192.168.40.254, so your PC’s Ethernet Card can be temporarily assigned an IP address, (like 192.168.40.10), on that same subnetwork to talk to and configure the Router/Switch. Giving the PC a specific IP address is also called assigning it a Static IP address, as compared to a Dynamic IP address that is typically assigned by a service provider when your PC’s network interface card is configured for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP). 2. Hit Enter 3. It will ask for a username and password. The user/pass is admin/admin. 4. Once logged into the router, you will want to select the "Management" option on the left. 5. Under Management is an option for Firmware. 6. You can upgrade the firmware from this screen. 7. Press the "Choose File" button to select the firmware file that you downloaded. You'll want to make sure to point it to the proper folder. 8. Once the file has been selected, hit the "Upload" button. 9. The router will reboot itself once it has completed the upgrade.
