Rated 5 out of 5 by CandyG from Super easy! This is a super easy product to use. Basically plug in your light or other appliance, download the app, connect to the internet and you’re done. You can program the device to go on and off at specific times. There’s a button on the box that you can turn the device on and off, outside of the programming. We use it on a light in our living room and it works very well! This would be great for ensuring your home looks occupied even if you’re not home.

Rated 1 out of 5 by willow from Not good This plug in is almost impossible to set up. It took hours to get it to pair with my wifi. It also disconnects itself constantly causing you to have to reset the device, rescan the code and repair! What a nightmare! The scanning of the qr code to scan is quite odd, what if you lose it? Overall a great concept but these do not work well at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TheDude79 from No issues so far Bought this item so I could remotely control my floor lamp without having to get up every time. Connection to wifi was easy and I was able to get it going in HomeKit without issue. No disconnects or anything of the sort. If you have an issue with wifi, make sure your wifi router/AP is in range. Also take in mind that if you have a lot of obstacles between this dimmer and the router/AP, that can cause an issue with wifi connectivity (I work in IT so these are basic troubleshooting concepts). If that's the case, look into getting Ethernet over power line extender....they work great to help extend your wifi signal (did it for my parents house where wifi was on one side of the house, now wifi covers the whole house).

Is your WIFI dimmable outlet compatible and operational (dimmable) connected in front of a low voltage landscape lighting transformer (300W 12VAC output) running LED bulbs? I have had issues running 12VDC output through a Dekor dimmable WIFI device.
Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately no, the WWP20CCV2 is not recommended for use in that application. I hope this helps.

Can you use the dimmable version on an appliance? Not wanting to dim the appliance. I want to know if you can use it on something that is not dimmable? Example: I have an extra dimmable plug and want to use on coffee maker.
A dimmable outlet(plug) is not recommended for use with any type of motor loads(lights only). If the dimmer adjustment is used, which lowers the voltage going to the appliance, you can cause damage to it's motor.

I bought the SMART PLUG-IN DIMMER, WI-FI for use with Alexa but I have an Android phone and no apparent way to set it up in my system. How do I set it up? Your app requires a qr code and the one that comes with the plug doesn't work on Android?
The WWP20CCV2 and is compatible with Android phones. I would make sure you are using the correct Legrand SmartLights App designed for that device and it will accept the QR code without any issues.

Does this require any other hardware other than this plug itself to be able to control a lamp that is plugged into it either remotely (using some phone app phone) or through Google or ALexa)?,
You do not need any additional hardware for the Radiant Smart Lighting devices.
