Supplier Diversity at Legrand

A program that empowers economic growth, development, and sustainable business practices in underserved communities strengthens Legrand North and Central America through competition, reduction of supply chain risk, and opportunities for expansion with the emergence of new consumer needs based upon shifting demographic realities.

CSR

Since 2019, diversity has been included in the CSR criteria considered when selecting suppliers, in the same way as their carbon reduction and commitment to the circular economy. This generates economic opportunity for historically under-represented suppliers, including minority-, veteran- and women-owned businesses.

John Selldorff, President and CEO, LNCA

"Our commitment to strengthen our business by getting better participation from under-represented groups extends to our Supplier Partners. By partnering with a broader range of suppliers, Legrand can tap into new ideas, perspectives, and approaches that can help it innovate and grow. Additionally, supplier diversity helps Legrand support its local communities and create economic opportunities for underrepresented groups"

We improve lives by transforming the spaces where people live, work and meet, with electrical and digital infrastructures and connected solutions that are simple, innovative and sustainable.

Steve Liu, VP Sourcing and Purchasing

"We recognize that supplier diversity is not just a social responsibility but also a strategic business imperative. Legrand is committed to working with diverse suppliers who can provide high-quality competitive products and services that meet the company's standards and needs. This commitment to supplier diversity is reflected in the company's policies, practices, and partnerships, as well as in its efforts to support diverse communities and promote equal opportunities for all."
