Hi Bruce, The V5751A is the deepest extension/starter box which is 1 3/4" deep. Depending on the brand and depth of the GFCI receptacle most would fit within the 1 3/4" depth. I would confirm with the receptacle manufacturer what they require for their wiring devices.

Hi Alan, 12/2 MC has a ground wire. 12/2 AC utilizes an uninsulated bonding conductor within the interlocked armor of the AC. The Type AC cable is an equipment grounding conductor in compliance with Article 250.118(8) of the NEC. The AC cable must be connected to the 500 series using our 5790B fitting to comply with the requirement in Article 386.60 below. 386.60 Grounding. Surface metal raceway enclosures providing a transition from other wiring methods shall have a means for connecting an equipment grounding conductor.
