What is the limitation of this box in a 2hr ceiling ? How many per square foot? How far away from each other?
Golf, the limitation would depend on the holes placed in the boxes and the box fill that is used. Determine that and then use the formula linked to get the distance away from each other. It should also help with the spacing. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you.

To obtain it's UL listing, we can only recommend mounting the box per it's design with the side screws.
