BUILDING A MORE SUSTAINABLE, MORE RESPONSIBLE WORLD

At Legrand, we have an important role to play in building a sustainable future. That’s why Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is central to our strategy and is a critical component in our future growth.

Building on more than two decades of CSR action, Legrand has released its sixth consecutive roadmap which will be in effect through 2027. This Roadmap is ambitious and requires all of us, including our suppliers and partners, to be involved.

It is centered on five focal areas:

Our Focal Areas

Supporting the United Nations' Goals

In 2015, the United Nations adopted a set of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all as part of a sustainable development agenda.

Legrand believes all countries and companies must align on these SDGs and has structured its CSR priorities to support this global framework.

Legrand recently received an “A” rating for its climate commitment by the CDP, a global non-profit that operates the world’s only independent environmental disclosure system.

Legrand is honored to have earned a Gold rating from EcoVadis, putting us in the top 5% of companies for sustainability performance.

Our CSR Roadmap Defines Our Focus

Legrand CSR roadmap translates into operational action plans for our CSR ambition.

It details the company’s 16 priorities, along with clear objectives and key performance indicators to be achieved by 2027.
Our Sixth Consecutive Roadmap

Legrand embarked on its CSR journey nearly two decades ago with the launch of its first Roadmap. Our ambition has expanded and deepened with each successive Roadmap.

The current Roadmap is organized around five focal areas.

Our CSR Roadmap requires both internal and external accountability and, like our financial performance, our CSR performance is third-party audited.

Third party verification is crucial to our investment standing.
