LFI 2016: Wattstopper DLM Platform Highlights New Features for High Performance Buildings and Advanced Lighting Applications

San Diego, CA, April 27, 2016, LIGHTFAIR International – Legrand, North America is exhibiting its newest solutions from leading product lines Wattstopper, Vantage and QMotion at Lightfair International Booth #4726 from April 26-28, 2016. Products on display include end-to-end Wattstopper Digital Lighting Management (DLM) solutions, which address current industry needs for products that adapt to new energy management and transformative lighting requirements.

Wattstopper DLM is a scalable best-in-class platform that provides control infrastructure at every switch, outlet, and lighting load for optimal energy performance. This year Legrand has introduced a multitude of new Wattstopper DLM capabilities and tools at Lightfair:

  • Color Control is the industry’s first code-compliant circadian rhythm lighting system. As part of the company’s partnership with Lumenetix, this system will be interoperable with Lumenetix’s araya5 platform. DLM Color Control is comprised of an in-fixture control module integrated into the DLM platform with a wall box mounted astronomical clock and timer. The control module uses a DMX protocol to communicate with LED drivers and controllers to enable Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) and advanced LED applications. It features four channels for dimming/intensity, CCT, hue, and saturation control.

  • Segment Manager 2.1 brings two new capabilities to the industry. The first is the tile-based interface that allows users to easily group controls by room, area, floor, and building into their desired view. The second is Segment Manager’s ability to automatically populate tiles into the dashboard when integrated into the DLM system. It is a powerful, easy-to-use tool to help lighting professionals at any experience level achieve building energy efficiency and optimization with valuable information for each space and a visual history of the site’s operation.

  • LMRC-110 Digital Room Controller: As the foundation of the DLM platform, these installation friendly room controllers simplify code mandated multi-level control requirements and integration into intelligent buildings. Available in single and dual relay models, LMRC-110 series controllers are ideal for spaces with loads up to 10 amps. Features such as simple knock out mounting installation, Class 1 or Class 2 connection 0-10V wiring, and optional metering means huge time and money savings and brings greater flexibility for LED lighting and 0-10V dimming.

“We’ve continued to make significant developments to our DLM platform products to help accelerate advanced lighting and high performance building innovations,” said Charles Knuffke, Evangelist and VP of Systems at Wattstopper. “DLM is the foundation to help our customers, from designers to installers to end users, meet project goals from basic code compliance to advanced building networks and LED applications.”
