Walkercell Cellular Raceway System
Walkercell is an in-floor raceway system that allows for multiple services through its high-capacity 3-in-1 raceway design. The 10-foot cellular raceways are constructed as a single raceway with three separate compartments, allowing for quick installation of multiple services. The system is available with or without preset openings (presets are field installed). Receptacles can be recessed within the raceway to hide plugs and data connections once fully installed.Top Resources:

System Features
Triple service presets deliver up to three services to the workstation at one location. These larger presets span all three cells and enable connection of FloorPort™ Service Fittings.
Compatible with Trenchduct, Walkercell Junction Boxes and Walkercell Junction Box Headers.
Wide variety of service fittings, including flush and pedestal styles.
System maintains the integrity of fiber optic connections by providing ample bend radius within the raceway and through service fittings.
UL & cUL Listed to Standard 209. FloorPort Service Fittings are UL scrub water listed.
Walkerduct and Walkercell are very similar in their function. The largest difference is that Walkerduct features individual ducts, while Walkercell is three channels in one duct. This three-in-one profile leads to quicker installation time.
Start at the end user's needs and work your way back through the system. Per desk, slot machine, retail cash register, piece of equipment, etc. how many circuits are required? What type of data is required? The circuits and data needed per piece of equipment, along with that equipment's layout in a given space, will determine the number and size of the ducts in the distribution system.
Besides the end user's needs, the second most important requirement is the slab depth. Walkercell can be configured to account for different slab depths, but the slab depth will drive many of the part numbers required for the system. A Walkercell distribution system often runs at a 45-degree angle to the space's horizontal/vertical layouts to accommodate future moves, adds, and changes. Junction boxes are positioned throughout the system to help pull wires through it.
Junction boxes also act as locations to bring conduit to for additional feeding of the distribution system. Walkercell is also compatible with Trenchduct, which is often used as a feeder system back to the electrical panel. Headerduct is also a feeder system option for Walkercell.
