Legrand® Provides Unparalleled Customer Support with New Wattstopper® Connected Services Suite
Secure, remote support services save time and money during installation and startup and provide peace of mind with an enhanced first-year warranty.
PHILADELPHIA, MAY 9, 2017, LIGHTFAIR INTERNATIONAL – Legrand, North & Central America and its Eliot Program are showcasing Wattstopper Connected Services at LIGHTFAIR International 2017 in Booth # 1841. The Connected Services suite securely connects to a Digital Lighting Management (DLM) system via a dedicated modem, providing remote diagnostics and instant technical support to offer the industry’s best startup, installation, and post-sales support experience.
The first offering in the suite, RACCESS, is available on select new DLM-networked projects and comes with an industry-leading enhanced first-year warranty that includes access to a dedicated DLM technical services team.
DLM with RACCESS provides a superior installation and startup experience to electrical contractors, delivers the best first year experience to facility directors and building owners, and provides assurance of high customer satisfaction to specifiers. Benefits include:
- Efficient Startup and Commissioning with diagnostic checks that ensure devices are connected to the network prior to onsite startup.
- Swift Response Times from dedicated system experts that can address programming, configuration, and troubleshooting issues remotely
- Huge Time and Cost Savings by streamlining installation and helping close out jobs faster with support for punch list items and last minute sequence of operations changes
- Peace of Mind with a secure and remote connection, independent of a company’s IT network.
Customers can extend service throughout the life of the DLM system to ensure maximum energy savings, functionality, and performance of devices.
“Connected Services was developed to bring more value to specifiers, contractors, and end-users by focusing on simplifying the installation and startup process. We’re addressing customer pain points with a new system and will be able to make system adjustments immediately when customers want to make changes right after move-in,” said Ray Acciardo, Director, Service Marketing at Legrand, North America. “Our enhanced first-year warranty is unmatched in the industry, and support for DLM-networked projects is just the beginning.”
Legrand Eliot Program
New Connected Services capabilities showcase the larger context of Legrand’s Eliot (Electricity + IoT) program in North America. Eliot is a global Legrand IoT program that brings together Legrand's worldwide expertise to advance connectivity and intelligence in the built environment, mobilize Legrand’s capabilities around the world, and speed development of Legrand connected devices wherever the Internet of Things can enhance value for all users.
Products, systems, and services under Legrand’s Eliot program, including DLM, adhere to three important principles:
1. The products and solutions must enhance value by simplifying usage, facilitating maintenance.
2. They must be intuitive and easy to install and operate, which is part of Legrand’s DNA.
3. And finally, they must respect the user. Consistent with Legrand values, Eliot products, systems, and services will preserve the confidentiality of user’s data.
These critical principles shape how Legrand is approaching innovation under the Eliot program.
