Questions & Answers

My wall is only 3" deep. Do you have an in-wall tv power kit that I can use?

Asked by: Mele
We do not. We recommend consulting an electrician to run a permanently wired receptacle up to the TV location and use Brush plates for the low voltage parts.

Does this product meet 2017 NEC Section 400.12 (1), (2), and/or (5) requirements for cords in walls? What is the specifications for the cord insulation?

Asked by: Ray
The in-wall cable is 14/2 NM-B solid conductor and is therefore exempt from 400.12 since 400.12 pertains to flexible cables and cable assemblies.
