On my intercom system got put on monitoring by my kids. I don’t have the instructions anymore and for sure reason I can turn it off. All here threw the whole house is back ground noises. So now I have it on mute so I don’t have to here the background.
Find the room that you're hearing the background noises from.
On that room's intercom station will be a button labeled either "monitor" or simply "mon".
It will be lit up red.
Press the button to turn off monitor mode (the red light will go off).
Enjoy the silence.

Is there a replacement face plate for the IC7001LA
The cover plate is a standard 2 gang decorator wallplate.
The screwless plate is part number RWP262XX where XX is either W or LA depending on color needed.

is there a recommended product in the market that would work with the on-Q system? Now that Legrand discontinued the IC7001W without a replacement
We do not have a recommendation on products not manufactured by Legrand.
No third party modules exist to our knowledge that work with the OnQ Intercom system.
At this point it is advised to search the internet and talk to your distributor for replacement intercom systems. The OnQ intercoms used Cat5 wiring to connect them, so there should be more than enough conductors available to install most intercom systems.

I have install an On-Q system about 6 years now and have 5 IC7001WH that failed, if Legrand discontinue this product what is their recommendation for me to replace these pieces.
Unfortunately the system was discontinued and Legrand/OnQ does not have a replacement system available.
Please reach out to your local AV Integrator or Security Installer to look for replacement options for your system.

My On-q vendors think this intercom station is discontinued. Is it still available right now?
The OnQ Selective Call Intercom system was discontinued at the end of 2020. We no longer have inventory available for sale.

There is very high demand for this product in our area. System was show-cased in a parade of homes but no-one can find it. Can you please tell us where we can purchase this system?
Unfortunately the OnQ Selective Call Intercom system was discontinued at the end of 2020. There is no planned replacement for that product.

Is there any way to connect the Selective Call unit (particularly the door unit) to a hub, to enable triggering of some automation?
There is a door release dry contact on the 8 location distribution module that you could attempt to use for that purpose. You would need to enable the Door Release A option from Installer Setup on any of the existing Intercom Room Stations.
