Works as a nightlight
It has multiple brightness levels, and appears bright enough to illuminate the room. Wish I could pair it with a single 110V outlet but that is not the fault of this unit. If I had to design the room again, I might have paired it with a 1/2 height light vanity switch or room switch however my room is sensor driven

Nice design
Nice design in that it doesn't use one of the outlets for power, 3 brightness settings, looks great! Note outlet must be installed sideways to accommodate the night light, but since they're square nobody notices the difference.

Sheek design and superb functionality
This nightlight allows for stylish implementation. It blends right in wall during the day yet during the night it functions to perfection. No need to buy plug in nightlight.

Ok
First of all, the product doesn’t mention it’s turned on/off by ambient light levels. Since you’re installing it typically during the day, your first thought is that it’s defective because it’s not turning on. Caused some frustration and extra research. Secondly, I miss the old version that installed under the light switch for an even more space saving design, this mismatches my magnesium finish and is more old school than the discontinued version. Lastly, it flickers on the highest setting. For a $30 nightlight, not impressed!

Questions & Answers
Can the light sensor be adjusted? I'd like to adjust the sensor to turn off based on the lighting in the room it's installed. Right now, I have to shine a flashlight on it to auto turn-off.

From the video this appears to be a night light that can be removed and plugged back in. Does that mean that it is both wired and battery-powered, the latter charging when plugged in?
Hello, This device is a wired, in-wall nightlight. The AARNL2 however can function as a nightlight or as a removable flashlight module.

Can this half-size nightlight be used with ARTRUSB156ACW4 in a 2-gang wall plate?
I don't believe so. The night light and one square ARTR152W4 outlet fit into a AWP1G3WH4 1+ wall plate.

Kelvin temperature ratings:
MIN - 5500K
MID - 6000K
MAX - 6500K
The push button located at the top right will allow you to change between the Min, Mid & Max light level settings.

I want to install the half nightlight with a half light switch. I have a two wire set up. Should I attach the night light first? Can’t I install wall wires to the half light switch and the nightlight wires directly to half switch using second opening?
The Nightlight will require a HOT and a separate NEUTRAL wire to operate correctly by the ambient light and not be controlled by the switch. You can bring the HOT from the switch to the nightlight, but it will need a NEUTRAL wire connected to it.
