Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor functionality - Comes on at random! The adorns nightlight sounds like a cool feature to add to a switch- granted it works as advertised. We’ve found that it will come on during the day at random due to changes in ambient lighting, and even at night without changes in ambient light in our toddlers room- waking him up at 2 am (look at time stamp on this review) and it keeps coming on at full brightness setting. Clearly very faulty sensor. Sadly we might need to uninstall this feature. Step up your game Legrand!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Style, quality, look. I have purchased this ligh about 5 years ago and now got another for my second bathroom. Very good quality and modern look. However, the picture of the product is misleading and makes it look like the light comes with frame, while frame has to be purchased separately. I will get the same for my third bathroom.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Could be better. I bought four of these accent lights to see how well they did, so I installed them to every bedroom in our home. They do work, but the issue that I have with them is that they are nowhere near as bright as they could be. When I purchased them I was hoping for them to be bright enough to illuminate the entire wall below the light switch. The only problem is they only illuminate about 2 in below the light plate. If these products could be brighter that would be great, but out of all the settings for the brightness, none of them are bright enough for me to purchase any more of these.

Can this be installed safely using the hot and neutral wires on the line side of a GFCI outlet? Or is it recommended for only non GFCI circuits?

The two I installed were both on GFCI circuits. No problem. The only issue may be if it is a GFCI outlet and not on a GFCI circuit (with the GFCI in the breaker panel), it might be a tight fit getting the module that powers the light back into the box.

I installed my accent light onto a true dimmer.  The accent light works when I have my light on low but when I turn off my light the accent light also turns off.  How do I keep it on or what did I do to cause this

The Accent Nightlight should be wired to a HOT a Neutral wire and should not be controlled by the device in the electrical box. It is designed to turn on by itself when a lower light level is detected in the room. Will the AAALG1G4 Nightlight work with a 3-way switch in a 3 wire application in conduit? What should the neutral wire be connected to?

The Accent Nightlight can only be install on the LINE side of a 3way and the white wire needs to be connected to a white Neutral wire.

1. how is this different from AANLM24, which is also night light 2. will this and AANLM24 work with 1 Gang+ plate? thanks in advance for your answers

1. The AANLM24 is a full size nightlight that takes the place of a device in the wallplate, where the AAAL1G4 is the Accent nightlight that gets installed behind the wallplate along with your switch, dimmer, or outlet, etc... 2. You could potentially put the AANLM24 and the AAAL2G4 together in a one gang box using the standard 1 gang wallplate(not the Plus size).
