Replacement
This was a replacement for the original equipment which was fried in a lightning strike. It required a software update before operating properly. I don’t understand why something requiring an update would be shipped

Questions & Answers
Can I stream the sound from my iPad without it being from a specific app like Pandora? I would like to listen to my Xfinity stream on my out door speakers, is this an option? I have a P 300.
You can only do that if you physically connect your iPad to the P300's line-in port with a cable to go from the charger port (either lightning or USB-C to 3.5mm).
You could also buy a bluetooth adapter and connect it to the 3.5mm Line-In on the P300.

I have Nuvo Player P300 and the app on my Iphone to play Deezer on my Bang & Olufsen. Could the Nuvo Player P300 play Deezer hifi quality on my loudspeakers ?
Nuvo Player supports up to 192kHz audio quality.
