ELIOT, a Global IoT Program

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a network of uniquely identifiable endpoints (or “things”) that contain embedded technology to sense, collect, communicate and, exchange data locally or with external environments, without human interaction affecting our daily life. As IoT is becoming an indisputable reality, Legrand intends to speed up the development of its range of connected products and services. Launched in 2015, the Eliot program aims to inject the power of communication into Legrand’s products and services, wherever the Internet of Things can improve the user experience. Eliot also supports the development of suitable digital infrastructures for buildings and is doing everything it can to promote interoperability. The aim is to deliver additional benefits for all private and professional users, whether they are end users or installers.
