Questions & Answers

Hi, I would like to disable the occupancy sensors during testing in the space. The result would be the motion-sensing portion would not turn off the lights during testing. I am using a LMRC-211 Thank You

Asked by: Tony
Hello, If you have the LMCT-100-2 handheld programmer, we can go into Sensor config>current setting, and set the time delay to "override" this will stop the sensors from turning off automatically.

Can a DLM room controller be mounted inside an enclosure?

Asked by: Mick
While there are no foreseeable issues with placing the DLM room controller inside an enclosure, it is important to note that there are no specific provisions for installing the controller within an enclosure. Additionally, it is not recommended to install the equipment outside where it may be exposed to various environmental elements. Ensure that none of the controller's venting slots are obstructed to maintain proper airflow and functionality.

can a dual relay dimming room controller control 2 different zones of lights on the same circuit, each with its own motion sensor and a dual button switch for both zones

Asked by: ctm001
Yes, the Wattstopper LMRC-212 can facilitate that functionality. To optimize its configuration, it is recommended to use either the LMCT-100-2 configuration tool or the desktop software LMCS in conjunction with the USB adapter LMCI-100. This will allow you to configure the devices to operate according to your specific requirements.

I have a LRMC-211 power pack with LMSW101 LV switch and 5 LMDC100 motion sensors. Directions say the device defaults to auto-on when you have 1 motion, but defaults to manual on when you have multiple. How do you change this back to auto-on?

Asked by: Christian
To change the settings on your DLM system, including the auto-on feature, you'll need either the LMCT-100-2 handheld remote or a laptop with LMCS software and the LMCI-100 USB adapter. The setting you're referring to is a "Load Setting". You can adjust the "Operation" to "Auto" to ensure the lights turn on automatically when the motion sensors detect occupancy.

Can room controllers be powered at 208V single phase? Meaning two hot wires with no neutral.

Asked by: Anonymous
The DLM room controller requires a single-phase power source with specific input voltages. For the LMRC-213 model, it can be powered by single-phase 120/230/240/277VAC at 50/60Hz. However, it does not directly support 208V single-phase (two hot wires with no neutral).

I have one of LMRC 212 used to be turning Off automatically during night time base on the program but now its not working. I have now to turn off at the switch to make it work. The rest of the relay is working. Thank you

How many light fixtures with individual dimmable ballasts can the the LMRC-211 control at once?

Asked by: Tim
That answer depends on the draw of your fixtures. Here are the load specifications for the LMRC-21x series controllers: Maximum 20A combined load per Room Controller; each relay rated for: @ 120/277V, 20A ballast or incandescent, 16A E-ballast (per NEMA410),or 1Hp motor load; @ 347V, 15A ballast only

Can you use a 3 way splitter (t tap) to connect 2 relay packs together with a device like a switch or a occ sensor.

Asked by: Jc
Hi JC, You can connect multiple LMRC's together using any open port on a device. If no ports are available a good quality "T" tap can be used. Mostly all of our devices have more than one port on them.
