Questions & Answers

I need instructions for how to set the switch to motion sensor. Ours at work keeps getting taken out of motion mode so that the lights are always on and have to be manually turned off and then on again.

Asked by: Caroline
The LMDM-101 is a dimmer switch within the DLM system and does not have built-in motion-sensing capabilities. The motion detection in your space is likely controlled by either a ceiling-mounted or wall-mounted sensor. Adjusting the sensor’s settings can be done manually, using the LMCT-100-2 remote, or through a laptop with LMCS software and the LMCI-100 adapter. The exact programming steps will depend on the method used, so reaching out to Wattstopper Technical Support would be the best way to get instructions tailored to your specific setup.

We are using the LMDM-101 for dimming control on a hallway circuit. We need a switch for the other end of the hall that is not dimming capable but works within this system. Cat5 control to the ceiling Power Pack. LMRC-211.

Asked by: Adam
For your application, the LMSW-101 momentary switch is a good solution. It is compatible with the LMDM-101 dimming switch, providing a non-dimming, functional switch for the opposite end of the hallway. The LMSW-101 is a decor-style momentary switch that can work within your system by using Cat5 control to the ceiling Power Pack (LMRC-211). It will allow you to control the circuit without affecting the dimming functionality, making it a suitable choice for your setup.

My lights keep turning off when I'm working in the office alone. Is there any way to just keep them on like a regular lightswitch?

Asked by: Mark
The LMDM is not a motion sensor, you likely have a ceiling sensor in your space. There is a way to disable the sensor if you like. Please contact Wattstopper Technical Support at 800-879-8585 for further assistance.

my lights go on and off way too much, is there a way to adjust the sensitivity?

Asked by: Anonymous
The product you selected does not control sensitivity. If you have a motion sensor connected to your system the sensitivity can be adjusted there

Can the trim be adjusted? Lights are slim panel leds and are still pretty bright at the current lowest setting.

Asked by: Chris
High and low trim can adjusted via load configuration programming in the DLM system.
