Questions to Consider: 1. Circuit Setup: -Are they wired in parallel from the same electrical circuit? 2. Settings: -Have any settings on either device been modified from their factory defaults? 3. Independent Functionality: -Have you tested each device individually to ensure they function correctly on their own? Troubleshooting Steps: 1. Verify Circuit Connection: -Ensure both the DT-355 and PW-301 are connected to the same circuit and wired correctly in parallel if they are controlling the same fixtures. 2. Check Settings: -Reset both devices to their factory settings and see if the issue persists. Sometimes, setting changes can lead to unexpected behavior. 3. Test Separately: -Disconnect one device and test the other in isolation. Repeat for the second device. This can help identify if one of the devices is causing the problem. 4. Contact Technical Support: -If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it might be best to reach out to Technical Support. Provide us with detailed information about your setup and the steps you've already taken. We can offer more customized solutions based on your specific situation. By systematically addressing each of these points, you should be able to identify and resolve the issue with your line voltage sensors.

I need sensors for two stairwells in a commercial building. I would like to put a sensor at both ends of the stairs. I have 120v line voltage and have LW wire run in parallel to the switch location from the sensor location. What sensor is best?

Asked by: Kevin Dettmering
For Low Voltage installation, I'd recommend the DT-305 sensors, LVSW-101 switch, and BZ-150 power pack. This would require low voltage wiring from the sensor locations and switch location to the power pack. If you wanted a line voltage solution, take a look at the DT-355 sensors, but keep in mind that they won't interface with a low voltage switch.
