Reviews

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bluetooth Unappetizing for Manufacturing Setting I am a manufacturing engineer at a lighting assembly plant. Our customers expect programming different from the default settings. The sensor configuration app and programming process has more than tripled the programming cycle time, and increased maintenance activities over the FSP-2XX. It takes a full minute to wait for the sensor to boot up and be ready for programming, and often causes the bluetooth of the phone to require the phone to be factory reset.

Questions & Answers

Will the FSP-321 lose its programming upon a power shut down?

Asked by: Matthew Goetz
The FSP-321 is designed to retain its programming even after a power loss, thanks to its non-volatile memory. The only way to clear the programming is by performing a Factory Reset.

We have lights that when we try to connect it says password does not match

Asked by: J
J, If the sensor has been programmed and the password was changed we will need to reset the sensor. The button on the FSP-301 is used to to reset the unit. • Press and Hold for 10 seconds – Any jobsite passwords in which the device is bound will reset, then the device will reboot.

Why would the app say the sensor is only seeing 1fc?

Asked by: Travis Creswell
If you're talking about the photocell setting under Configuration - that is the current photocell setting. If you're see only 1 FC in the 'Controls' section, it would indicate that the sensor is only seeing 1 FC of ambient light - if that's obviously incorrect, make sure that the photocell of the sensor is unobstructed. If this is still an issue, please call our Tech Support number (800-879-8585) and we'd be happy to assist with troubleshooting.
