Questions & Answers

Configuration red light on, will not reset

Asked by: Wolf
When encountering a solid red configuration light on a plug load controller, please follow these steps: 1. Disconnect the Cat 5 cables: Begin by removing the Cat 5 cables to see if the controller recovers. 2. Power cycle the controller: If the controller does not recover, power cycle it with the Cat 5 cables detached and check for recovery. 3. Factory reset: If the controller still does not recover, perform a factory reset and observe the results. 4. Replacement: Should the controller fail to recover after these steps, it may need to be replaced. If the controller does recover after removing the cables, the issue likely lies with a faulty cable. Additionally, consider the possibility of a defective switch or sensor. For further assistance and detailed troubleshooting, please contact Technical Support.

To reset an LMRC-213, you press and hold the CONFIG button for 5 seconds. You will see the red LED begin to flash rapidly. Press and hold the same CONFIG button for another 20 seconds. When the LED again begins to flash the LMRC is reset. * Please note that this will affect other DLM devices attached to the LMRC as well. Is there a wired (rj45) temperature sensor for wattstopper operation (instead of occupancy sensor)? Project: outdoor temperature sensing, to control hardwired on/off plug power (to heat mats for snow melt).

Asked by: schi
Unfortunately no, Wattstopper does not offer a temperature controlled sensor device.
