Questions & Answers
I'm unable to enable logging on my router, (management - logging). I've enabled logging and the system.all check box, to no avail. Refreshing doesn't provide me with any device logging.
We're sorry that device is discontinued and support has ended for that product. We would recommend replacing that router at this point in time.

How do I enable UPnP (universal plug and play) on the DA1054 router? I don't see a UPnP option in the configuration GUI. My current firmware version is 1.3463b150302. Do I need to upgrade first?
uPnP should work out of the box on that router, and is not user changeable.
That firmware version is the last firmware made for that discontinued router.

Power blipped at home and the switch seems fine locally but upstairs where I can see lights on if the switch is running everything is off. Tried reset button, cycled power and neither of the networks from the switch are showing up on my wifi.
The device with the three colorful lights is a separate wireless access point model number DA1101 or DA1104. If those units have no lights then they have failed. OnQ no longer manufactures an in ceiling access point to replace those units.
Please consider buying a replacement access point from LUXUL http://www.luxul.com

Manual doesn't mention it, but DHCP client is an option for LAN, at least for me. If there's another router, e.g., wireless, on the network to use as DHCP server, can anyone confirm connection to Internet (WAN) still works?
If the unit is switched to router mode, the DA1054 has an Internal DHCP server. Internet will still work but you'll have a double NAT situation which is detrimental to IoT devices and network speeds.
If you are using a router prior to the DA1054, the DA1054 should be switched to "Switch" mode.

The user guide states: "Access Control .Using the Access Control feature, you can assign LAN users to different groups, and determine which Internet services are available to each group." I cannot find the access control feature. Where is it?
Please reach out to technical support at 8002234162 Option 3 for help with this setting.

What is the maximum distance you can run a CAT 5e or 6 cable to a DA 1101 without signal degradation?
The EIA/TIA 568 standard states that any ethernet run be no more than 100 meters.

Is there a way to implement a 3rd-party VPN (ie expressVPN) within router settings so that all traffic behind the router will be secured via said VPN?
No there isn't.

I have a DA1054 connected to a router/modem. I want to do away with the router/modem and replace with an Eero network. Can this be accomplished? And if so, how? Thanks.
That depends on the number of ethernet connections on the DA1054 being used. You may need to keep the DA1054 as a switch behind the eero to allow those wired clients to continue connecting.
