Matter is the latest protocol to help standardize the way our smart devices and systems communicate with one another. Matter-enabled devices from Legrand are designed to work directly with Matter-compatible smart home platforms from major manufacturers like Amazon, Apple, Google, and Samsung. At least one smart home platform, typically a smart speaker or smart home hub, is required to be installed prior to installation and setup of Matter-enabled devices. 

The radiant® Smart Lighting with Wi-Fi (2nd Generation) family of products are all Matter-enabled, leveraging the protocol to make it simple and easy to transform your home into a smart home. The 2nd generation of Smart Lighting with Wi-Fi does not work with the 1st generation Legrand Smart Lights application and the new Matter-enabled products are setup directly through your smart home platform of choice.
