What is the recommended installation method for these ladder racks? Would the deeper cavity of the ladder be recommended on the top or bottom of a horizontally installed run to help retain cabling within the tray?

Typically cable runway is used because a customer wants cables to be able to drop along a side rail with no side rail interference. Therefore, the runway is installed with the rungs on the top. If a customer wants cables to be contained, then a cable tray product line should be selected instead of a cable runway product.

Is this product appropriately rated to support UPS primary voltage feeder cables?

Cable runway is commonly used in telecommunications and voice and data applications. Cablofil does not recommend power cable be used in cable runway. We recommend wire mesh or ladder cable tray.
