Questions & Answers

Is the reinforced wall bracket and required hardware seismically rated?

Asked by: Mike
Individual supports are not seismically rated. A qualification of the cable tray supports and building structure along with anchors and bracing as a whole is typically completed by the design engineering firm hired by the contractor. The cable tray manufacturer does not have the information required to validate as it has little to do with the cable tray and everything to do with the support beams, anchors, and bracing.
