The black Outdoor Ground Box cover assembly is prewired on a single circuit with (2) 20A weather resistant duplex receptacles.CAUTION: All ground box electrical circuits must be protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter upstream from the ground box.NOTE: Cover must be closed while in use. Use only molded plug and cord assemblies that are rated for outdoor use.NOTE: Maximum length of plug allowed at end of cord is 3'' (76mm).

Do I need a ground box base to install this in concrete under a covered screened in porch?

Hello, The XB814C520BK is a cover kit and the XB814 box would be required. However, these boxes are for ground installation and a sidewalk or paver would be suitable. The boxes are not approved for installation in a concrete slab. Thank you
