Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs to be just a little more thought out It may seem trivial to most, but it is a huge issue for my circumstance that there is no 45 degree outside (or inside or regular wall side) elbow. I am okay with it not being included (those types of parts are never adequately supplied in a single order, anyway), but the fact that it does not exist, at all, is very upsetting. I bought this to avoid that jury-rigged look, but I guess for anything but the most standard configuration cordmate can do no better than a jury rigged look. Still a good kit for the price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great capacity! I agree 100% with Christian, this is a great solution for hiding cables if only on one side of the TV wall. but with 7 cables 3-left 4-right you need twice the hardware you get in the kit. You can't buy any extra fittings from here or anywhere else. you have to buy another kit. $40.00, thank you very much! yes I will recommend, with advice!

Questions & Answers

Are there screw holes in the raceway to provide options for extra security?

Asked by: Ryan
Hello, The raceway base has adhesive and does not have pre-drilled mounting holes. This raceway is designed for low voltage cabling (50V or less).

I'm renting and would need to remove these when I move out. Does the adhesive damage paint or leave a sticky residue when removed?

Asked by: John
Hello. The adhesive is designed to form a strong bond to the mounting surface, which could be difficult to remove or cause damage if removed without caution. However, if done carefully, the raceway and adhesive can be fully removed without causing damage. What is the temperature rating for the adhesive on The C310. I want to mount on an aluminum sofit in a dry eave.

Asked by: Ovenmike
Hello. We recommend using the adhesive backing only to hold the raceway in place during installation; the raceway should ultimately be secured using screws appropriate for the mounting surface. Thanks!

Can adapters, (inside elbow to outside elbow) be glued together? I need to do this in a tight unlevel spot. If it can, what type of glue?

Asked by: Keith
HI, No they are not made to be glued together. Those pieces are made to snap over sections of the raceway. Thanks,

I don't know what it's called but I want to transition from the end of a section of Cordmate III to a hole on the wall. It's a tapered box, like a reducing coupler. I have used them in other brands of raceway, but am now doing a job with Cordmate III.

Asked by: CTP
Hi, You can take a look at 2986-WH and see if that would work for you. Thanks,
