I need to fabricate a 45° corner from a 90° corner. I plan to cut and "weld" the two pieces with a hot or ceramic knife. Can you provide the melting point of the outer track cover (the part that faces the room).

Hello, Unfortunately we cannot recommend modifying the elbows as the UL listing would be voided. For odd angles, the 810A2 entrance fittings can be used with flexible conduit between them. Thank you

What gauge wires can be used in this raceway

Is this series rated for fire alarm FPL or FPLP type cable?

Hello, ​The 800BAC was not subjected to testing to confirm that the raceway would not support the spread of fire or combustion. We recommend the use of our surface metal raceways. Thank you

Hello, MN Electrical Inspectors allow NM wire in 800 Wiremold. I've been a licensed MN and ND Master electrician for 37 years and have installed a lot of Wiremold product over the years. How many 14/2 NM cables can I install in a 800 Series raceway.

Can 12-2 NM be used inside the 800 race way providing the bends aren't too much? Or is this only for THHN wire.

Hello, 12-2 cannot be used. The 800 series raceway is only rated for THHN or low voltage cables. Thank you

Are the 800 series wiremold weatherproof? Rainproof? Can it be used outdoors?

Hello Anonymous, The various raceways we offer are designed and UL listed for interior dry locations only. The local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) should be consulted for approval of any installation for which the raceway was not intended. Thank you for your inquiry.
