Wiremold OFR Series Overfloor Raceway System provides four-channels of capacity and access to a wide range of power, communications, and A/V connectivity options in the smallest, lowest, narrowest, ADA compliant profile available in overfloor raceway systems. This system installs over existing floor coverings and is both tamper-resistant and installer-friendly, making it an ideal solution for relocatable or permanent installations where access through floors and ceilings is not an option.

Is there a panduit jack adapter for the ofrbc-8

Asked by: Tim
Hello. The OFR Communications Device Plate, part number OFR47-2A, fits on the Overfloor Raceway 2-Gang or 4-Gang Box (OFR48-2 or OFR48-4), and can accommodate the adapters you need. For keystone jacks, use part number CM2-U2KEYA-BK; for Mini-Com jacks, use Panduit adapter number CHI2MBL. Both will work with the OFR47-2A plate. Thanks!

Is this product ADA compliant? Can a wheelchair roll over this? Secondly, how are the channels within the base separated? I'll need to run both power and AV and Data - how do I maintain separation?

Asked by: John L
John, Yes it is ADA compliant. There are 4 channels in the raceway. The below web link will take you to the page for that raceway. Under the resources section there is a cutsheet and instruction/installation sheets https://www.legrand.us/wire-and-cable-management/raceway-and-cord-covers/overfloor/wiremold-ofr-series-overfloor-raceway-base-and-cover/p/ofrbc-8 Thanks,

If a cable(s) needs to be replaced, it appears the whole system would have to be unsecured from the floor - screws removed - to access it (them). Is that correct? Thank you.

Asked by: Bob G
Bob, The cover would need to be removed from the base to access the wires. The base portion would remain secured to the floor. Thanks,

Is there an alternative to fastening this product than the use of No. 8 screws?

Asked by: bob72
Thank you for your question. Mechanical fasteners are required to secure the raceway. This installation calls for #8 screws, based on the flooring material. Thanks!

Can the OFR48-2 receive an underground conduit into the back of it. I know we would have to punch a hole into it and us a conduit fitting.

Asked by: Joe 48
Hello, Since the OFR base does not have knockouts it cannot be field modified. OFRPT3 and OFRPT4 can be used to feed conduit from the floor below. Thank you
