The Wiremold 2000 Series raceway offers a selection of steel, aluminum, and nonmetallic raceways that provide a versatile solution for many applications. Rated 1 out of 5 by from HORRIBLE PRODUCT What an absolute horrible design. Ridiculous to install. Paint material is absolutely crap. Even with the legrand W30 wire connectors it's absolutely aggravating to install. Poor design. Fire whoever designed this.

I would like to replace just one or two sockets with a USB charger socket can that be done?  I am not sure which Wiremold series I have but it is one with only the classic 3 prong outlet.  Or would I need to buy a new strip such as the

Hello Giovanni, Unfortunately Plugmold receptacles cannot be removed and replaced with a USB module. These hardwired strips are designed in such a way that the product needs to ship from the factory prewired in order for the product to maintain it's UL listing. In addition, removing an outlet and attempting to replace it with a USB would void the product Warranty and the product would more than likely become damaged. Can the plug mold be cut down to a shorter span? We have a few areas in the kitchen where we want to install the plug mold, but they span only 9 - 12 inches.

Good Afternoon- Yes, Plugmold can be shortened on the job site by following the installation instructions included with the product. If required, cut the base to length and carefully debur any cut ends before mounting. If the edge of any receptacle falls closer than 1 1/2" from the end of the unit, then that receptacle must be cut out to allow sufficient space for the installation of the end fitting.
