Questions & Answers

I have successfully installed the unit. I am attempting to remove the outer cover so that I may feel an additional low voltage cable through the wall. I have found it very difficult to remove the cover, could you provide some instruction?

Asked by: Dan G
Hello Dan, To remove the trim ring, unplug the power cord from the module. Insert the blade of a flat head screw driver into the recess and gently pry the trim ring off. Below is a full copy of the installation instructions. https://legrand.webdamdb.com/directdownload.php?ti=55646103&tok=2W4b83BiudqcIzQKP7AMawRR

Would there be a separate document explaining the installation instructions, max wall thickness, hole size required, etc ?

Asked by: Jeremy
Hi Jeremy, No separate instructions are available for that. The hole saw in the CMK60 cuts a 3" diameter hole. It is designed to fit into both interior and exterior walls constructed of a minimum of 2" x 3" studs and 1/2" inch drywall. Should you have any additional installation questions please feel free to call us direct at 1-800-621-0049. From the main menu choose option 3 for technical support. Thanks,
