Radiant Switches and Wallplates
I installed the radiant switches and screwless wallplates throughout my entire house. With a sleek and simple design they look really good. As an architect, I’d recommend these products to anyone. Technical support was very helpful with questions regarding wiring the dimmer switch.

As advertised
Had trouble finding a 3 way dimmer that was compatible with the LED's I was using in my basement project. Then I came across this one advertised as universal. Made a couple of calls to the Lagrand tech support to discuss before I ordered 3 of them. Installed them and they work perfectly. Could not be happier.

Radiant Dimmer
We had a unique color combination in our kitchen. The switch cover had a wide range of covers that solved the problem. Tru-Universal dealt with the different types of lighting so that I didn't have to figure-out on my own.

Works fine if installed correctly
Installed on a 3-way circuit that had an open neutral. Luckily this didn’t fry the dimmer and was able to address the issue. Works as expected now.
Instructions could have been more helpful in diagnosing the behavior I was seeing, but my fault for not checking in the first place.

Grounding Wire
It would be great if it didn't need a grounding wire.... unfortunately, they could not be used due to this for certain switches.

Questions & Answers
Will this product work to separate a led ceiling lamp with dimmer capabilities and a ceiling fan (Designers) ? meaning, can I turn on or off the fan an still be able to turn on and off and dim the lamp?
Thank you for your inquiry. The RH703PTUW is designed to operate a lighting fixture, but it is not compatible with controlling the motor on the ceiling fan. For your application, we recommend using our combination LED/CFL Dimmer with 3-Speed De-Hummer Fan control (LSCLDC163PW).

How do you remove the backstab ground wire from the back of a Legrand dimmer switch. I do not see a release button.
Thank you for your inquiry. The Ground wire is soldered to the main board of the dimmer and is not intended to be removed. If you have any other questions or comments, please get in touch with us at (800) 223-4185 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. EST or by email at Tech.Support@legrand.us.

Are these matte or glossy?
This device has a satin finish which is between matte and glossy. I hope this helps!

If I have two switches that currently control a set of ceiling lights, can I replace both switches with 3 way dimmer or just one of the switches?
Hello, thank you for your inquiry. You would only be able to swap out one of your switches with a dimmer, as you cannot have two dimmers controlling the same light using traditional wiring devices. To add dimming from multiple locations, please check out our Smart lighting products!

Does the RH703PTU work with an HMR as the other 3 way switch? I can turn the light on and off, and dim it if using a regular 3 way switch on other end of the PTU. But when I swap it to an HMR, the light won't even turn on. Please advise.
The RH703PTU is not compatible with the HMR remote dimmer. You'll need to use a standard 3 way switch in the secondary location.

If I buy the gateway and download the app can I control these dimmers with my phone?
The RH703PTUW is not an App-Controllable Dimmer.

Disconnected 3-way switch and wired 2 traveller wires and load wire as shown in diagram. I have no “hot” wire to connect. The dimmer LED flashes and the light does not work. What am I missing?
The universal dimmer also requires a white Neutral wire connected to the silver terminal(marked NEUTRAL) on the back of the dimmer. I would look for a bundle of white wires in the back of your electrical box and create a jumper to the dimmer.
