I purchased a Legrand 3778....looking at the rear of the receptacle with ground on top, which side is hot, left or right?

The brass terminal on the left would be the HOT and the silver terminal is the NEUTAL.

Can you post a photo or put some information on if the inlet is a male plug or a female plug? Does inlet always mean male plug?

Legrand 3778, I just ordered this from Menards, But I had to go to the store to order it, because the online image is the front of it closed, and the description of it does not say anything about it being a male outlet, in a recessed recepticle.
