Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to desribe, not so easy to get I realize this simple, unsmart transfer switch can be installed in munites, but I paid a licensed professional to try to provide my new furnace a way to select alternate, backup power and this was the choice, does what is necessary. Now my furnace has one, someday, when my home is blessed with solar, or other owner-generated power, it will be flick of a switch to keep the place warm if ice downs some line from a thousand miles away in another state, or another country. There another similar that can handle 30 amps, I'm very happy with 20.
