Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally, a well thought out dimmer switch! We replaced an old dimmer with this one and it checked all the boxes. The old one had a skinny slider that was too difficult to use. It also glowed from behind which turns out to be not at all useful, is always hot, and so is perpetually using electricity. The new dimmer has an ergonomic know, a light that shows only when the device is switched on, and an on/off button that is also ergonomic (unlike the dinky buttons on other dimmer switches we also have in the house). Going forward we will be installing more of these.
