Illuminated switches are designed for Incandescent lights only and may cause CFL/LED bulbs to flicker.

Most bulbs are led. Why should this switch not be used

Illuminated switches have a very small amount of leak through current ti light the switch, which may cause CFL/LED bulbs to flicker when the switch is in the OFF position.
