Replacing a 1970's switch marked "Slater". Connected new exactly as the old, but when I turn power back on, the lights stay on (no 'off'). Clockwise from LR: 2 Blk on 1 Blk screw, 2 orange on brass screws, 2 W on silver , 1 Yellow on silver.
If the switch you are replacing has a Pilot light, wiring should be the same. If not, see attached guides depending on which side of the circuit you are installing the 695 switch.

The little red pilot light does not shut off when we turn light off . We want it to shut off so we can tell if celler light is left on. It is a 3 way it shuts light off in both locations just not little red light.
The wiring for the 695WG depends on which side of the circuit it is installed on(LINE or LOAD side). I would suggest contacting Technical Support to discuss proper installation.
