Questions & Answers

how do I remove the break off tab?

Asked by: mark
The Single Pole, Double Combination Switch, 20 amp, 120/277 volt, Ivory(670IG) has a metal tab that connects the two brass HOT terminals that can be broken off by either using a flat-head screw driver or needle nose pliers. Bending it back/forth a few times will break the tab off and create the split circuit.
