Questions & Answers

This outlet sucks they have it at my dorm and it gives everyone problems BAD

Asked by: 1aaa
Let me get this straight...you live in a dorm that has unspecified electrical "issues" experienced by "everyone" and you removed the plate, identified the make and model of the outlet without getting shocked and went to the manufacturer's site to post a non-specific comment about the quality of that outlet as a service to the rest of the world to let them know to avoid this particular outlet? Have I got that right?

What is the terminal screw torque spec for White 20-Amp Duplex Hospital Outlet Model #: 8300HW? I can not find it anywhere.

Asked by: Laddie
The required torque for the terminal screws, to include all Legrand/Pass & Seymour Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) Receptacles; and 15, 20, and 30 Amp Switches and Receptacles is 14 to 18 inch pounds.
