What is the withstand or AIC rating of a standard, commercial, and/or spec grade receptacles?
Here is what we have always referred to – UL508A – industrial control panels – which are typically assemblies of Listed products. We suggest that you review with your AHJ to be sure he accepts this logic.
FYI – below is only a portion of the devices rated – entire table not shown.
Standard Receptacle 10KA

Model CRB5362WCP6. Does your UL File (E140596) show this receptacle was evaluated fro use with STRANDED wire? I find CRB5362 but not CRB5362WCP6 in UL directory. Can you confirm that these are the same models? What is the WCP6 mean?
The CRB5362 and CRB5362WCP6 are the same receptacle and have the same UL listings.

Why is there a difference in the description for a construction grade receptacle such as a CRB5362-I and a specification grade receptacle in your submittal information. Are they ( CRB5362-I) specification grade ?
Yes, the CRB5362I receptacles are FSUL(Federal Specification, WS596) listed.

Do have to wrap the wire around screws and tighten or can you put the wire in the terminal hole and then tighten screw?
The CRB5362W is both "back and side wire", so you can terminate your wires either way.

"Internal screw-pressure-plate back wire terminals" -- Does this mean smash-plates or just stab-in holes? I need something that can be easily used with stranded wire.
The CRB5362W has the internal pressure that applies pressure to the wire when the terminal screw is tightened down. It does not have stab in hole option.

Why do your spec sheets for a 5362 receptacle show they are NEMA WD1 & WD6 compliant, but the cutsheets for the 5362A & CRB5362 don't? Do these not comply or are they just not on the cutsheet? If they do comply can I get something in writing that shows
Both of these receptacles comply with Nema WD1 & WD6 as stated at the bottom of each of the attached catalog pages.
