You can charge 2 phones or tablets and plug up 2 other things like your tv or lamp. It charged my phone and Bluetooth rather quickly without any problems. The receptacle is a LifeSaver because you don't have to worry about and extra cord to plug up multiple things & I'm always hogging the plugs when charging my devices. I recommend you go get you a 3A Hybrid C/C USB Charger Receptacle

Are you able to charge a MacBook Pro and a iPhone at the same time?

Well, yes.. but, No!  The problem is the amount of powered delivered.  You will get some power, but not nearly enough.  What you must consider is the power required and the power available.  This outlet can provide 15 watts.  What does your MacBook Pro require... 45 watts? 65 watts?  Look on your Apple provided charger.  This will provide 15 watts total. 15 out of one port, or 15 divided between the two...

My USB-C ports stopped working. Is there a reset or something I should do?
