Rated 1 out of 5 by from Product support I have 4 HKRL-10 inwall switches and 3 HKRP-10 Smart plug in switches. All was working fine, but Since the IOS-15 update I have had nothing but “No Response” issues. Reset the hub, and they come back on for a day or two maybe, and then back to no response. Now the IOS-16 update and I cant even get the devices to connect. I have trouble shot the Homekit app, my apple TV hub, and now I have reset the whole system to default and started over. I am trying to reconnect these switches and nothing will connect now. I am now reading replies here that say these models are not supported and or discontinued? So what do I do to get my system back and running? This was all working until software updates have essentially taken my smart home offline and rendered it useless. Please help

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes turning the lights on so convenient! This was a great purchase. I'm not sure how difficult the setup is because I just had my contractor install it. It's easy to work from your phone though. The app makes controlling the lights and Alexa super easy. I'm definitely glad we made this upgrade!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great idea I had this installed in my home in a room with only one switch thinking of the ease of turning everything off from across the room. And for some this will be a great product. I had to have help with the application and being not so smart gadget literate I had some snags. But this does not take away from the product. It is made well and has wires and wire nuts for installation. And the box gives you the information needed and lists other equipment needed for away from home controls as well as other products in the line

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smart Switch This switch was quick to install, all wire leads and wire nuts are included. The instructions are very clear and detailed. Support is readily available. Required tools are a phillips head screw driver and a flat blade screwdriver. We also used a wire stripper and electrical tape. The face plate is also included. This is a single switch product. It works right away with Apple/ Siri. To use Google or Alexa you will need to download the Legrand Home app. We're happy with this purchase and enjoy the convenience.

Questions & Answers

I have the same issue with all my legrand HKRL10 switches and homekit. After IOS 16.5 update i cannot acces or add or control them anymore via homekit. Also tried to add them to a new home. The firmware is 1.1.16. All my other 80+ homekit devices work ok

Asked by: Jos Bakker
But the question remains; do the HKRL switches still work with IOS 16.5, or do i throw them away? What a waste of money considering i bought 8 of them only 3 years ago. Please help! Ps your solution below does NOT help, did exactly what you said

I have 3 HKRL10 switches installed -rock solid reliable until recently. They work in Homekit but after a few days, 2 or 3 show "No Response" in HK. I have to restart my router to get them working in Homekit again. Firmware issue with recent iOS 15 update?

Asked by: Thorfinn
We are currently unaware of any compatibility issues with these switches and iOS 15.0 That said, ensure your router outputs separate 2.4GHz and 5GHz wifi networks and connect the HKRL10 switches to the 2.4GHz network. Factory defaulting them will be required if the network name changes. This is accomplished by holding the ON paddle for 15-20 seconds. These switches have now been discontinued, and it is unlikely they will be receiving future firmware upgrades.

Looks like the remote HKRL20WH, for a three way switch, has been discontinued? What is the alternative? I do not want a dimmer.

Asked by: homekitFan
Unfortunately there is no alternative within our product line other than the dimmer which will not work in your situation. Sorry for the inconvenience.

How do I determine what the current firmware version is on an HKRL10 switch? And if the switch is not running the latest version, how do you upgrade it ? Thanks

From the Legrand Home app go to Settings | Accessory Select the device to check tap the gear icon. the current firmware version will be listed. If there is a new one, an update accessory button will be listed.

Will it be compatible with android phone?

Asked by: Brt Electric
Being a homekit switch, it will not be. If you need a smart switch that works with both, look to the Legrand "SmartLights" line of switches with part numbers beginning with WWRL
