In a conscious effort to build greater employee inclusion, leadership development opportunities are created across the organization to raise employee diversity. We use talent development programs to advance employee skill sets and experiences. Learning is an integral part of diversity and inclusion.
LEAP is where participants will learn best practices for engagement and retention, how to build employee trust, and opportunities to build their leadership capabilities. This program covers 10 leadership topics through a combination of online learning, senior leaders sharing their experiences and small group cohorts led by leaders with co-participants from across the organization. This mixed learning style ensures there is a blend of learning styles and theory and practice and peer support.
Various functions hiring early in career talent to participate in rotational development programs. These rotations culminate in accelerated development for placements in full time positions.
Legrand is supportive of employee lead affinity groups whose mission is to support our diversity and inclusion goals. Affinity Groups foster a culture of collaboration and inclusion across the organization. They play a key role in aligning business strategy with core values. Benefits include development of future leaders, increased engagement, and expanded marketplace reach. Affinity groups are a way to give underrepresented groups a voice within the organization.
