There is no difference between the two. The V1 product comes in retail packaging where the non-V1 comes in bulk packaging.

No, please use the WP3476 inserts with this tool.

how do you use this tool
Insert the keystone into the jaws of the tool.
lace the cables into the keystone following the color code on the back of the jack.
squeeze the handles to both terminate the cables and cut off the loose ends in one push.
