Well Engineered Mounting Plate
Really pleased with the Universal Mounting Plate. It snapped right in, and holds my router securely. Legrand did a nice job of packing the item.

I had a panel installed in a new home and it had one of these in it to mount devices. I needed another so I purchased it online at legrand. It was out of stock and took a while but the product is excellent.

What size and type of screws should be used in the pre-drilled holes to fasten 3rd party equipment to the AC1040 mounting plate?
Those holes in the AC1040 should support 10/32nd screws for mounting. But the unit also has slots for velcro as well.

Will this fit the EN2880 metal enclosure. It says it does but I see 4 holes and not the tabs needed.
The AC1040 comes with 4 pins for those 4 holes. Those plunger pins will engage successfully with the square holes on a metal enclosure.
This will allow you to mount accessories that would normally only fit in a plastic enclosure.

Will this install in a 42“ metal structured On-Q enclosure (Part # EN4280) with the On-Q style mounting holes (square and round)?

Yes, the AC1040 will fit into both our plastic and metal enclosures in the 42inch size. It will conform properly to the hole pattern.

WHY was this amazing product discontinued??? I had to find one on eBay to supplement the one I already have. Works very well to secure components inside the panel.
