Indigo-Clean Technology
Indigo-Clean is LED lighting that uses a specific wavelength from the visible light spectrum, 405nm, to kill pathogens. This specific wavelength has been proven to be effective at killing a wide variety of pathogens.

Providing disinfection and ambient light at the same time
Indigo-Clean fixtures have a patented blend of 405nm targeted LEDs and standard white LEDs, meaning Indigo-Clean fixtures act as standard light fixtures providing ambient light for every day activities and have the added benefit of germ killing technology. The 405nm LEDs oxidize pathogens from within and the white LEDs provide ambient light in the room. The light reflects off tables walls and other surfaces ensuring the entire room is bathed in germ-fighting light. Indigo-Clean fixtures should be installed in the same location as standard light fixtures; there is no need to change the placement or location. Simply create a luminaire layout that meets the needs of the space and provides an average of 50-60 footcandles on the work planes and high touch surfaces.
Indigo-Clean technology is working whenever the lights are on. With the current state of enhanced cleaning recommendations and guidelines it can be challenging for any facility to continuously adapt and put best practices in place.
