The Player Portfolio Sound Bar (NV-P500-XX) provides excellent sound quality through a powerful 2.1 system, complete with an eight inch wireless subwoofer. The Sound Bar can play audio from a video source such as a TV or can be used within the Player Portfolio System to access a variety of streaming services as well as any networked audio content.

Sound bar could work like Home Theatre System 4.1/5.1/7.1... combinnating with others NUVO players.

Unfortunately it cannot. NUVO is stereo only and meant for whole home audio. Furthermore the NUVO product line has been discontinued as of October 2021 and is no longer available for sale. http://legrand.us/nuvo/update.

 Bar stopped responding to volume increase using remote after momentary power outage. All other remote functions work, including volume decrease. Bar volume, mute, buttons work.

If you're using the NUVO remote, give us a call to talk about your options. If you're using a non-nuvo remote, you can reprogram the P500 to recognize volume up and down by going to settings/zones in the NUVO app and selecting the P500 zone and going to Remotes.

My soundbar can't learn Volume + and - This issue happens when the TV remote control has a single button for volume + and -. Is there a way to solve this issue?

Unfortunately the Nuvo P500 isn't compatible with every TV remote out there. You will need to use the soundbar's remote for audio control in this case. Our apologies.

Hard Failure, how to fix it?

If you have a solid red light, try factory defaulting the unit by pressing and holding the + and - buttons on the unit until the indicator turns green. This will factory reset the unit. Then you can connect it to the network via ethernet and reconnect it in the app. If that fails try the TLVupdate reset process located at: https://legrand-communities.force.com/knowledgebase/s/article/Multi-Room-Audio-How-to-do-a-flash-firmware-update-for-the-Nuvo-Player-Portfolio-Product

Does Legrand plan on making a NUVO compatible sound bar ? It is a bummer that this has been discontinued.

Nuvo has refocused its direction toward speaker amplifiers, zone players, and 8 ohm speakers. There are no plans to redesign the NVP500 or create a new soundbar at this time.
