Questions & Answers

Can I turn the lights off with this switch?

Asked by: Bill 007
Yes, you can turn the lights off with the Wattstopper LMSW-105 switch. If the paddle rocker is properly bound to the load, simply pressing the paddle down once will turn off the lights.

I have a LMSW-105 on one side of the room and need to add another one across the room.  Will they be compatible

Asked by: Aaron Maguire
Yes, as long as you add another wired DLM switch (LMSW-xx - LMDM) it will be compatible with your current setup.

How do I reset the switch to factory settings?

Asked by: Thimas Thoon
Resetting the switch while plugged into the IRB will cause all of the DLM devices connected to also reset. We recommend contacting Technical Support @ 800-879-8585 to address your specific issue as we can walk you through changing the settings for just the switch.

What does each button do? We want to set the room to bright for a learning event.

Asked by: Betsey Iko
The LMSW-105 is customizable so it depends on how your switch was programmed. If the programming was not changed, and the switch is at factory settings, it is a scene switch. The long button is a dimmer that will take the assigned light from 0-100%. Scene 1 (button 1) is 100%, scene 2 (button 2) is 75%, scene 3 (button 3) is 50% and scene 4 (button 4) is 25%. If it is not operating this way, you will need to contact the person who programmed your site for assistance.

CAN THE LMSW-105 OPERATE MULTIPLE TYPES OF FIXTURES IN THE SAME ROOM. WITH DIFFERENT LEVELS OF BRIGHTNESS? FOR EXAMPLE A LINEAR LIGHT AT FULL BRIGHTNESS AND THEN A DOWNLING AT 50%?

Asked by: MIKE
Yes, you can program a LMSW-105 to control loads separately. Please see the DLM System guide or contact Technical Support for assistance with programming the switch to accommodate your needs.

LMSW 150 Dimm switch doesn't work as intended, one scene is selected and one load on it, and pressing (holding up) the dimm switch doesn't respond

Asked by: Alejo
The LMSW-105 is a Scene switch. The solution to your problem may be as simple as reviewing the load bindings for the switch. Please review the instructions for proper settings, and please contact our Technical Support group at 800-879-8585 if you are still having a problem with it.

Where is the full operational details? I only have the quick start guide.

Asked by: Cory
The LMSW-105 is a part of the Wattstopper Digital Lighting Management System. It has to be connected to other DLM devices to work properly. The manual for the switch can be found on the website. You may also want to look at the information for the LMCT-100-2 Commissioning tool for further programming information.

How does Legrand recommend cleaning these switches to comply with CDC recommended cleaning of High Touch Surfaces? Is there a recommended cleaner or method which can ensure the surface is sanitary without damaging the electronics?

Asked by: Anonymous
Do not apply cleaning solvent directly onto unit. Apply cleaning solvent onto a cloth, then wipe the unit to clean it.
